Now that I am committed to fill this space every day I’m gathering “filler”. That’s stuff that “fills” this space when I don’t have other news. One of those fillers is statistical information about the use of this website. Some people like that, I know I do, but I don’t flatter myself in thinking that I am representative for my readers (yes, that’s all six of you!). Anyway, let me know if you hate this, or love it, or couldn’t care less one way or the other…

To start with, April 2004 was the first month we went past 2000 visits/month. I know, I know, you probably all have websites much more popular than this, but I am extremely pleased with it. Readership has gone up in a consistent way since the beginning.

Below you see where you came from this month. Hey! You there, from Belgium! Yes, you, with the yellow shirt! I know you! You can do better than that! Don’t let me down again this month…

I love pie charts! It’s surprising to me that Germany doesn’t show up.

Paul, the chart shows only the top 10. In the list that I also get, Germany was on position 29 of 32, right there with the Fiji Islands and Ecuador.

Oops! That was the wrong month I looked at: in April Germany is in position 29, followed by Poland, Argentina and Finland. Some of the unlikely higher positions include Bulgary at 24, the Seychelles at 22, and Hungary at 16. What a great audience!
