Well. I did it, didn’t I? It’s now six thirty in the evening local time in Iraklio and I finally found an internet cafe to let you know I’m still alive. It has taken me exactly 97 hours from departure in Bilzen to arrival in the port of Iraklio. I’ll let you have the full story as soon as I can find back the notes I took underway… For the moment I’m beaten. I’ve had it. No more travelling. I’ll need a rest first. Tonight is chtapódi night, squid cooked in it’s own ink. It’s my favourite dish and the first thing I eat each time I arrive in Iraklio. You should try it the next time you’re here.

Keep tuning in. I’ll post my message related to the previous days under the appropriate calendar days, so remember to go back to January 4 to read it all.

To those who commented on my most recent post, thank you very much, I really appreciate it.
